Alison joined us from the Glasgow office of one of Scotland's leading law firms. She advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial work, corporate insolvency, licensing and employment law.
Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2001, Alison has acted for a wide range of clients from small owner managed businesses to large banks and plcs advising on a variety of issues including acquiring and disposing of businesses; joint ventures; commercial contracts; shareholder disputes; service contracts; workplace policies and procedures; unfair dismissal and compromising employment claims.
A six month secondment in-house with The Scottish Football Association and a further six month secondment in-house with The Royal Bank of Scotland have given Alison an excellent insight into being a client. Consequently she is able to provide her clients with a pragmatic, commercial approach to achieving their business objectives.
